DESIGN CHALLENGE

In this assignment, I prepared a redesign of the Alert Box widget settings page. The end output includes:​

  1. Thought process for how I got to the decisions I made

  2. Wireframes 

  3. Final high fidelity design in Sketch

DESIGN ITERATION

Original page

Major issues are: The information architecture is not clear.  It's confusing on how and when to use widget URL and sample alert. The spaces are not properly allocated to alerts with high priority. Hard to discover important alert.
